Basically, it’s all about the colour

I get all my inspiration from the colour I see all around me, It can be in nature or in man-made objects. Either way, if its colourful , it just grabs my attention, I see colour before I see anything else. I am immediately drawn to it and it fills me with joy. I see a colour combination I love and It makes me want to recreate it .

About Me

My Story

I graduated in Textile Design in 1997 from NCAD, Dublin. I have had a varied career to date, including gallery and retail management and teaching. I have gradually moved into the role of full time artist / art educator over the past 16 years . I live in Dublin with my husband and 2 Kids and endeavour to live life colourfully!

I sell Original Paintings and Limited Edition prints , as well as a few other colour splashes for your home, something to suit every budget. Commissions welcome, get in touch to discuss a personalised piece of original Artwork or if you are interested in a creative collaboration with me .

My vision is to create abstract art, drawing inspiration from my life experience that inspires joy in the viewer and brings life to contemporary interior or family spaces. I have developed a keen interest in how colour can play an important role in our daily lives. My mission is to spread the joy of colour where I can.

My studio

My studio in Knocklyon is open ‘by appointment’ daily. I also host ‘Open studio’ from time to time – these dates and times are usually published/posted on my Instagram page or via my mailing list.

Sometimes it’s nice for a customer to pop in and see the different sizes together and see examples of larger prints in person – its a good way to help them decide what to go for if they have any doubts or questions.

The Studio has work on display in a small retail space that customers can come and have a browse in or select a gift for a loved one.
